CIMS Selections
Here's what the CIMS staffers are fancying this week:

Bryan Peters - ThinkIndie Warehouse Manager
Futurebirds- "Twentyseven" (Easy Sound)

This is the first single off the new Hotel Parties record due out 9/25. Go see these guys live if you’ve never seen them, one of the best live acts currently touring in my opinion. I’m pretty stoked about the new album.

Scott Register - ThinkIndie A&R
Kurt Vile- "Pretty Pimpin'" (Matador)Total ear worm. Walk around singing it all day long. My listeners can't get enough of it. Can't wait to hear the entire new album.

Deana LeSourd - CIMS/ThinkIndie Accounting
Until The Ribbon Breaks- A Lesson Unlearnt (Kobalt)It’s been a long couple of days for my brain…weeks for the rest of me…so I am at a loss for creative, descriptive and interesting words ( you can tell by the use of those words I just chose). I am definitely unable to string together the words I do have in any palatable and grammatically correct way (I’m ok with that sentence). So, my pick is Until The Ribbon Breaks, and my favorite track is "Romeo" followed closely by "Spark". Listen to both once all the way through.
