CIMS Selections
Here's what the CIMS staffers are fancying this week:

Bryan Peters - ThinkIndie Warehouse Manager
Cheap Girls- Giant Orange (Rise Records)

All good things must come to an end. Cheap Girls were my favorite band of the 2010’s and I was really bummed to hear they were calling it quits for personal reasons earlier this year. Giant Orange is one of my favorite pieces of work by them.

On a side note, next week is my last week working at ThinkIndie. I’m very fortunate for the opportunity to stay at home with my infant daughter over the next few years. I’ll miss working with all my friends, family, and colleagues. I wish you all the best and am very thankful for the experiences I’ve had in my time spent at CIMS/TID. Please welcome Nick Campbell on board as my replacement. Keep in touch and thanks again!

Nick Campbell - ThinkIndie Warehouse Manager (soon)
Girlpool- Powerplant (Anti/Epitaph)

Of all the new songs I've heard recently, I've probably listened to the song "123" twenty or so times. It's big, loud, and emotional. It's great night-driving music. The album as a whole is just as enjoyable a listen, too, even if it doesn't quite reach the heights of that first track.
