Hi everyone,

This week I wanted to call out a very special upcoming event for one of our stores, Indy CD and Vinyl, located in Indianapolis Indiana. Not only will they be celebrating 15 years of Record Store Day next weekend, Indy CD and Vinyl will also be hitting an important anniversary of their own, their 20thanniversary!

This week I am turning over the chart message to co-owner Andy Skinner to talk about what they have planned and a special request:

Hello everyone! Well, holy crap, Indy CD & Vinyl is turning 20 years old this year! At Summer Camp 2023 you can legally buy the shop a beer, right?

For our 20th Anniversary, Indy CD & Vinyl has spent this Spring pushing a big marketing campaign to spread the news, with iconic new logos and promoting a day-after-RSD outdoor festival complete with live music, beer garden, food hall, vendors, the whole nine to thank our local community for the two decades of support. One of the ways we have begun to celebrate is by posting to our social media accounts short videos of musicians and bands giving us quick video shout-outs for the occasion!

We would love it if you could also help us commemorate the achievement of twenty years in physical retail in Indianapolis by sending us some Cameo-style videos we can put on our social media of you congratulating us on 20 years in business. Stores: feel free to send us a store-to-store shout-out! Labels: if you have artists you think would be interested and/or have high-priority releases, please reach out and ask them to give us a shout!
